Dr. ViAI is ViClinic's virtual healthcare consultant and AI-powered symptom checker. It allows patients to receive preliminary diagnoses and triage.
Potential patients and licensed healthcare providers or physicians can register new user accounts through ViClinic.
To register on the ViClinic mobile app or site, new users must create an account by entering their name and email address, creating a secure password, and offering other specific account information unique to them. Users must be 18 years or older to form a binding legal contract.
Through the app, physicians can see where patients are located for treatment eligibility. Healthcare providers may filter and select available patients in the locations where they have active unrestricted licensure. After obtaining informed consent for consultation from patients in these specific, licensed areas, physicians and other healthcare service providers can provide virtual consultations.
ViClinic is designed to be accessible to patients and healthcare providers on a wide range of devices. Users may access the platform via an Android Phone or tablet, an iPhone or iPad with the camera enabled, or a computer with an internal or external camera. Users accessing ViClinic via a mobile device must download and install the ViClinic app before using it.
In conjunction with the thorough collection of a patient’s medical history, many health care providers feel that the information they can obtain from a video visit is sufficient for the accurate diagnosis of many conditions.
Many in-person physical exams can be done remotely. Even without being physically present with the patient, you can still visually assess general distress, skin tone, clarity of thought and speech, respiratory rate, work of breathing, walk, and more. Additionally, you can also have the patient assist in a physical exam during a virtual consultation by having them follow your instructions to palpate areas of tenderness, assist in moving the camera to visualize areas such as the oropharynx, and assist in abdominal self-exams.
ViClinic is designed to help you see your current patients and even expand your practice by finding new patients. ViClinic healthcare providers find new patients in several ways:
Once patients require care, they can book virtual appointments to meet with you.
Many different kinds of board-certified physicians and healthcare providers find that ViClinic is a great fit for their practice. This includes:
ViClinic is also available for behavioral health practice, including therapy and psychiatry.
One of the benefits of virtual health is that you determine your own schedule. You’ll practice on-demand based on how often you choose to practice. Urgent care providers often practice during a dedicated time, logging into our platform to see patients when it’s convenient for their schedules.
In many cases, providers who practice other specialties will open up available appointments for patients to book.
Generally, you should commit an average of 2 to 3 hours daily to be available for virtual video consultations.
We want ViClinic users to feel confident when they are using the platform, which is why we offer a range of training opportunities. All ViClinic providers have access to video-based training as well as 1:1 training sessions with a member of our team. Training includes an overview of the ViClinic platform and telehealth best practices. ViClinic providers must complete training and pass a final assessment to see patients.

Conditions that require an in-person consultation should not be treated remotely. Please ask patients to see an in-person healthcare provider, or seek medical attention at a hospital if your patient is experiencing any of the following:
Patients treated in a virtual setting typically have acute care needs that don’t require a trip to the emergency room. Some examples of the conditions healthcare providers treat virtually include:
Acute Bronchitis, Headache, Fever, Conjunctivitis, Influenza, Back pain, UTI, Respiratory Infection, Sprains and Strains, Sinusitis, Diarrhea, Pharyngitis, and Exacerbations of Chronic diseases like Asthma or Diabetes.
ViClinic can be used to manage chronic healthcare conditions by supporting, directing, and educating the patients. It can also be used to monitor patient rehabilitation after various surgeries and other medical procedures.
A typical doctor visit online through the ViClinic lasts about 10 to 15 minutes; the amount of time needed to handle most medical issues. Most in-person medical visits typically last somewhere about 10 minutes—but also require patients to travel, sit in a waiting room, and then finally wait to be seen in the exam room. Of course, online consultations can and last longer should a physician deem it necessary.
Physicians conduct appointments from any private location. This means that at a healthcare provider, you cannot take an appointment with anyone else in the room with you. To ensure patient privacy, we recommend taking appointments from your home or office with the door closed.
Patients will be able to focus better if the environment behind you is a light solid color, clean, simple, and not distracting. A light blue or green backdrop is preferable for the optimal video experience. Position yourself in front of a blank wall instead of a wall full of bookshelves to keep the focus on your medical care instead of your physical location.
Patients have a few options when scheduling a virtual visit with ViClinic physicians:
ViClinic is designed to be so much more than just a telehealth tool; it’s an entire virtual care management platform. In fact, many independent physicians use ViClinic to manage their in-person and virtual patient charting. Providers and physicians can add notes to patient charts on our proprietary electronic medical records (EMR) solution directly through the ViClinic platform.
ViClinic’s medical documentation tools are available to write notes and make recommendations during ViClinic video consultations while discussing treatment with patients. Providers can also make notes after a virtual visit as well. If developments arise, you may also edit medical records within a week after each visit. The ViClinic platform also enables chat features to interact with patients as needed.

Healthcare providers who practice via the ViClinic App are liable for any malpractice claims that arise related to services they provide through the platform.
Physicians have various options to get and manage extra earnings.
Price 1: There is a set, standard price for on-demand visits with unknown patients. This price varies based on each healthcare provider’s specialties, as well as the preferred language used during a visit, and the provider and patient’s country.
Price 2: Healthcare providers and physicians can set up a separate price-per-consult for patients listed in their “My Patients” group.
Reimbursement: Providers can explore other payment options, including reimbursement from health insurance companies to see if a visit to you is covered by them.
Many health plans and employers provide virtual health platform coverage as part of their benefits. Patients can discover if they are covered by setting up their account online at ViClinic, or by reaching out to their benefits manager. If a patient does not have access to health plans or employer benefits, they can set up an account to pay physicians directly.
Physicians can register their bank account details to connect to the ViClinic payment system.
Healthcare providers receive their earnings directly from patient via Stripe payment system. The ViClinic team goes into greater detail regarding payment during onboarding.
