Conditions that require an in-person consultation should not be treated remotely. Please ask patients to see an in-person healthcare provider, or seek medical attention at a hospital if your patient is experiencing any of the following:
Patients treated in a virtual setting typically have acute care needs that don’t require a trip to the emergency room. Some examples of the conditions healthcare providers treat virtually include:
Acute Bronchitis, Headache, Fever, Conjunctivitis, Influenza, Back pain, UTI, Respiratory Infection, Sprains and Strains, Sinusitis, Diarrhea, Pharyngitis, and Exacerbations of Chronic diseases like Asthma or Diabetes.
ViClinic can be used to manage chronic healthcare conditions by supporting, directing, and educating the patients. It can also be used to monitor patient rehabilitation after various surgeries and other medical procedures.
A typical doctor visit online through the ViClinic lasts about 10 to 15 minutes; the amount of time needed to handle most medical issues. Most in-person medical visits typically last somewhere about 10 minutes—but also require patients to travel, sit in a waiting room, and then finally wait to be seen in the exam room. Of course, online consultations can and last longer should a physician deem it necessary.
Patients have a few options when scheduling a virtual visit with ViClinic physicians:
No, it doesn’t. ViClinic, Inc. does not practice or provide healthcare services. The healthcare professionals who provide virtual medical services through ViClinic are independent professionals, practicing on their own or within independently-owned professional group practices.
ViClinic, Inc. does not practice medicine or any other similar licensed profession. Additionally, ViClinic does not interfere with the practice of medicine or any other licensed profession by medical professionals.
Healthcare providers are personally responsible for the services they provide, as well as maintaining compliance with any requirements applicable to their profession and licensure.
Neither ViClinic nor any third parties, who promote or provide anybody with a link to the healthcare services, shall be liable for any professional advice obtained from a healthcare professional via the ViClinic platform.
Healthcare providers who practice via the ViClinic App are liable for any malpractice claims that arise related to services they provide through the platform.
Physicians have various options to get and manage extra earnings.
Price 1: There is a set, standard price for on-demand visits with unknown patients. This price varies based on each healthcare provider’s specialties, as well as the preferred language used during a visit, and the provider and patient’s country.
Price 2: Healthcare providers and physicians can set up a separate price-per-consult for patients listed in their “My Patients” group.
Reimbursement: Providers can explore other payment options, including reimbursement from health insurance companies to see if a visit to you is covered by them.
Many health plans and employers provide virtual health platform coverage as part of their benefits. Patients can discover if they are covered by setting up their account online at ViClinic, or by reaching out to their benefits manager. If a patient does not have access to health plans or employer benefits, they can set up an account to pay physicians directly.
ViClinic uses Stripe to enable payment between patients and physicians. Once you have registered for the ViClinic platform, Stripe may contact you to confirm various bank account information. The submission process requires approximately 15 minutes to complete. Stripe may require additional time to confirm verification as well. This one-time process helps us ensure payment integrity and confirm physicians who participate on our platform are real and verified.
